All moved in. Total project time: 15 weeks!

I'll write up a better summary but we're all moved in and everyone has their own room!! Even the dogs. Total time from breaking ground until moved in: 15 weeks.

It's hard to believe but we're almost done. Interior trim and fixings here we go!

So a lot more interior stuff done last week... first coat of paint finished and the cement put down for the bathrooms for the tiles.

OK. So I've finally updated week nine pictures.... since this is so late in the week, I was tempted to just wrap up these images with the week ten ones which should be coming on Tuesday. I'll get back on track next week! -enjoy.

Apologies for not updating this sooner. We went on vacation and things have been pretty busy.

Week Seven Complete!

So we are almost two months in and things are (so far) looking very positive. Mike, our main contractor is taking a ten day vacation so hopefully everything goes smoothly while he's away. We mostly have interior stuff for this last week and I suspect this week will be more interior.

OK, so the workers were busy trying to get the house ready for a big inspection. This inspection covered foundation, rough electric and rough plumbing (everything passed).

Also, they wrapped the outside of the house to prepare for putting insulation in and (hopefully drywall) for week seven. Had to reinforce the old 'outside' wall too.

So, hopefully all will go well in week seven and that update will be worthwhile.

Mostly interior stuff (electrical/plumbing). Nothing major to see although the stairs are nice.
